We're just sitting here waiting...

What do you do while you're waiting for your baby to arrive and you have four other kiddos to entertain?



You attend scouting events!

Lance competed in the Stake's annual River Regatta.

He used his boat he made with his dad a couple years ago. Smart move, because it did great!

Mmmm. Watermelon.

Lance place 3rd in two of the three races!

Way to go, Lance!

While waiting for baby to come and it's starting to get hot outside, you go to the $1 Lego Movie with friends at the local theater.

You also teach Sharing Time in the Primary at Church.

You might also dog-sit. Three other dogs. On the same day.

While waiting for the baby to arrive, you might try new things for dinner. Like soft-shell crab.

Lily wanted to hold it. "Is it dinner? Is it food?" She is the cutest ever!

While waiting and waiting for the baby to come, you might have lunch with family that's in town for the day.

Or snuggle a sweet little girl who crawled into bed with you in the middle of a night when Daddy was working. (It's okay, you know you weren't sleeping anyway.)

You might get a huge kick out of watching your kids laugh and laugh together at crazy animal Vines.

(Lily was laughing hysterically and saying "That's ridiculous!"  as she and Lance watched funny animals. I had no idea she not only knew that word, but also used it appropriately. 

And, of course, while waiting for the baby to come, you will probably make many, many trips to the stores for all those items on your ever-growing list of things you need AFTER the baby comes.

Thank goodness for big brothers and good helpers who make those long, tiresome trips just a little bit better.

Come on, baby! We're waiting!
