Yes, that is a dead mouse. Apparently she found it in the corner of the cultural hall and decided she needed to pick it up. No worries, we threw it away and WASHED OUR HANDS!

We try to go to the gym most days of the week. These girls are my little buddies while the boys are in school and love to play with all the ladies in the Kidszone.

We have a few giftcards to JUMP we've accrued from friends over the years and I started taking the kids to jump for an hour while Lance has scouts. They think it's the best thing ever and since it's not a Saturday, they usually have the place to themselves. We were watching a little friend of Cole's for a couple days while his mom had surgery and brought him along, too.
Lance had his first band concert! It lasted all of 15 minutes, but was super fun to see these kids play actual songs when they've only had the instrument in their hands for a few months. Lance was playing the trumpet, but has mentioned that he would like to maybe switch it up and play percussion instead. We'll see!
A perk of having a doctor for a dad: when you fall and bust your head open, he can staple it back together for you, leaving only the tiniest of scars. Poor Lily fell and hit her head on the corner of our TV stand and had a deep gash. 4 staples and a week later, it looks like this! Win!
