Amy and Derek had a beautiful reception a week following their wedding. While most of our extended family had already returned home, Grandma Brewer had stayed. It's always a treat to be with her.
George's parents were there, too!

There was a chocolate fountain and I had the most difficult time keeping this monster away. I finally learned to just let her eat it without me hovering, knowing full well I'd have an enormous mess to clean up afterwards. She was thrilled, so it was worth it.

George was working this weekend and Lance was off having a great time with his dad and Abbey this weekend and missed the reception. I'm glad they were able to see all the family the weekend before.

Jason had a friend visiting for a few days. She was super cute and amazingly helpful while we set up and took down the reception.

It was a beautiful reception! We were able to see several old family friends and catch up with so many people I remember from when I lived in Ashburn. You can't find a better bunch of people!
And just like that, it was time for everyone to go home. Lily had to get some last-minute Uncle Jason snuggles in:
