While Lily and I were in the hospital we had several visitors.
Amy came to see Lily before she went home. She had spent the entire day while I was in labor with Laura entertaining Jude and Cole at our house. She is amazing!

Mom was so sweet and brought me and Lily these beautiful tulips.
My friend Sarah Simmons came to see us too! She was working that day on the Pediatric floor so during her break she came up to meet Lily.
(I had just gotten out of the shower...it was wonderful!)
And of course that evening Lance, Jude and Cole came to meet their baby sister!
George told me Jude had been asking all day long when they were going to come visit. He was so excited and wanted to be the first to hold Lily.
Cole was excited to see the baby, too, although he didn't seem too sure about what he was supposed to do with her.

Lance was so sweet with her. He kept asking to hold her and would gently touch her hands or face. Melts my heart.

I think Lance was excited that Lily looks more like him than Jude and Cole did. She definitely has a lot of Allred in her.

Cute story about this picture: we were sitting there looking at pictures and I hear this sweet little whisper from Jude right in Lily's hear: "I love you!" It was precious.
Cole tired of holding Lily and moved on to something much more exciting: the hand sanitizer dispenser.

I was hoping I'd get to go home at 24 hours, but Lily's bilirubin was a little high, so we had to stay the full 2 days. Bummer. By the time we had the green light to go on Monday, George and I were almost crazy. I don't know how people survive long stays in the hospital... it's awful.

When we got home we were welcomed by this cute guy:
He was very happy to have everyone home and celebrated by giving Lily a ride around her castle in her own little chariot. Heavily monitored by me. :)
