Lance got to spend a week in California mid-February, lucky kid! His dad flew out with him to visit his Dahlquist cousins in San Diego.
I got to talk to him almost every day and he had a great time! No surprise--he has some great family that lives there.
Some highlights from his trip:
Swimming in his cousins' pool, although he only did this once.
It was super cold!
Going to Sea World with his cousin Alexey and his dad.
He got to ride this all by himself at Sea World!
Hanging out at his cousins' nice house in Poway.
Lance and his dad are standing on the balcony that overlooks part of the valley. It's a beautiful view.
Lance also got to go to Lego Land with his dad a few times!

He got to visit Grandpa Bob at his "office"--aka the Courthouse.
He even got to go to the Welk Resort with his cousins and some family friends and enjoyed their neat waterslide.
This kid LOVES water!
And the best part was just being with his family. He loves his cousins and is excited to go back sometime this summer for an even longer visit!
