Spring Break at Busch Gardens

This year, Lance got to spend his Spring Break with Scott, Abbey, and Madison. They traveled to visit family and friends most of the week and had a great time. They even spent some time at Great Wolf Lodge! Lucky boy.

George had to work most of the week, but we did manage to squeeze our first trip of the season to Busch Gardens!

Jude was super excited because he barely made it into the 48 inch group. Finally, after years of waiting, he got to ride a few of the big coasters!

Aunt Amy met us there, too! It was great to have her there as extra hands and fun!

This kid is so brave! This is one ride I have no wish to ride. Coasters are great. Falling just to fall--not so much.

Our friends the Elmers also came! It was fun to hang out with them.

Cole's first ride on the Viking ship. He was excited when it started, but quickly became concerned as the ship rocked higher and higher. When he got off, he told me it was scary, but would do it again. That's my boy.

And of course Cole had to ride the train! He was a bit miffed the blue train wasn't running, but we made do with the red one and had a great time. We rode around the park twice while the adults went on a few coasters.

Aunt Amy is the best! She went up there to save Cole and Lily who's feet kept slipping through the gaps in the cargo net.

Last ride of the day: the "sky train"! Cole had been begging to ride this all day and it didn't disappoint.
