The day after I got back from Utah, we were able to host some of our most favorite people. Sarah and Calvin Simmons were in town for a wedding, so we had them over Sunday morning for crepes before driving them to the airport that afternoon. They were our neighbors in Copeley (the family housing here at UVa) for three years and became some of our very best friends before moving to Maine so Calvin could complete his Emergency Medicine Residency.
The Elmers came over too, making it a true party!

Love, love, love these people. Honestly, these are the people that make Charlottesville feel like home.
We had a great time with the Simmons, even if it was only for a few hours. I'm so grateful for these good friends. It doesn't matter how long it's been since we saw them last, every time we get together its like we were never apart. Priceless.
