Lance's Spring Break (again!)

Lance had this past week off from school for Spring Break and he got to spend it with his dad up in Fairfax. Here are some of the highlights:

He got to go to the Air and Space Museum with some friends.

One day, he and his dad biked along the Potomac River (Great Falls area) and had a picnic lunch.

And Lance and his dad worked for a couple days in the yard.

Lance worked hard and earned some money and immediately knew what he wanted to buy with it. He and his dad drove to Walmart and he bought a Lego game called Minotaurus. He loves playing it!

Lance has done several fun things with his dad recently. Last month, Lance got to go biking around DC with his dad on a couple weekends when he was visiting.

March 9th it was very cold, but not crowded so they were able to bike along the National Mall to see some of the monuments.

The next time they went, March 23rd, it was much warmer, but because of the Cherry Blossom Festival the Mall was very crowded, so they biked to the war memorial Iwo Jima to have a picnic.

Lance had a great time! I'm so glad he has the opportunity to do these fun things with his dad. It's good to have him back home, though. Lance, I missed you so much!
