Easter, part 3--Easter Morning!

The Easter Bunny was good to the kids this year! They came down the stairs at Grandmom and PopPop's house Easter morning to see this:

Lance was at his Dad's house for the weekend, but the Easter Bunny still made sure to drop off a basket for him as well.

Gummy pizza! The kids have been watching some YouTube videos where the kids do a "Real vs. Fake" episode. Two kids sit down and one gets the real version of something (like pizza or soda or even worms), and the other gets the fake version (usually a type of gummy). They compare which one is better. The kids all got a gummy pizza or a gummy burger in their baskets this year and were really excited to try them!

Jude and Cole both got some Robux in their basket--basically currency they can use in the game Roblox to purchase character skins or upgrade their inventory.

Grandma called that morning and shared a special Easter story to the kids about this little bird she found on her walk with Vera. She told the kids that at first she was sad because the bird was dead, but the more she thought about it, the more grateful she felt for Jesus and his sacrifice for us. Because of Christ, we will all live again, even this little bird. Death is not forever and even though it's sad for the people left behind, we know we will see each other again.
