This past June marked the end to George's second year of Research Fellowship! He has been patiently awaiting a position at UVa as Faculty and kept his foot in the academic door by completed these last two years working as an unofficial Attending while fulfilling all his Research Fellowship responsibilities. It's been busy and stressful, so we are definitely looking forward to this fall when he will OFFICIALLY become an Associate Professor/Attending in the Emergency Department at UVa!!
He was celebrated at the Resident's Graduation ceremony on June 3rd.
I was grateful to be there and celebrate all his hard work these past several years and look forward to a great career with a fantastic group of doctors.
August began the way July ended--enjoying the relaxing non-schedule of summer.
We took another family trip to Busch Gardens so Lance could ride some coasters.
