End of School festivities

Graduation time! Cute little Cole graduated from Pre-school. George and I had a fun time watching the sweet program they put on for family.

Cole is usually pretty shy so I was impressed he actually sang and did some of the motions for the songs.

Field Day! Cale does a fantastic Field Day for the kids that involves lots of games and water. They LOVE it!

This cute girl is Sage, one of Jude's good friends.

The best part of Field Day is the firetruck that comes and shoots water all over the kids. I missed when Lance's class got to do it (we were at Cole's preschool graduation), but I caught Jude!

On the final day of school, we got to attend Lance's Elementary School Graduation! George was amazing and came straight from working overnight at Culpeper.

Mr. Smith. Lance really enjoyed this teacher! His other teacher Ms. Lesser just had her baby and missed the graduation.

We pulled Jude out an hour or so early from the last day of school since we were there. He had a great year with Ms. Massie!

Okay, NOW summer can start!

The kids weren't the only ones to "graduate" this month. George and I got to attend the graduation ceremony for the 3rd Year Residents where George was awarded a certificate for completing his second Research Fellowship.

Way to go, Love! It's been such a long road, but he's finally finally been offered the position of Associate Professor at UVa and will be joining the faculty in September! George has been working in the Attending position at UVa for the last two years, but due to budget issues they have been unable to "officially" hire him as faculty until this year. In order to keep him in the system, they opened up two one-year Fellowship positions for him. We are so grateful! George has worked so hard for this!
