My mom has recently started a new Birthday tradition. Starting when the grandkids turn 8, she and Glenn take them on a trip for their Birthday as their gift. Last year they took Lance to the Spy Museum in DC which he loved.
This year, Lance got this book for his Birthday from Mom with the promise of a fun trip when Mom and Glenn got back from Australia.
Lance was pretty quick to guess where they were going: Luray Caverns!
Mom and Glenn drove down to Charlottesville on October 17th and watched the kiddos overnight so George and I could take a trip to Richmond and celebrate our 6-year anniversary. When we got back the next day, Mom and Glenn headed out with Lance for their day trip to Luray.
Lance said he had a great time!
