We had so much fun last year visiting De Leon Springs that we decided we needed to visit it again. This time we came prepared with swim suits and towels.
First came a pancake breakfast--they have you choose your toppings and mix-ins and then you make them yourself at the table. The kid all thought this was great.
Having a hot iron in the middle of our table was a bit stressful. You can see it in George's face.

The water was COLD, but . once you were in for a few seconds, it felt wonderful.
Lance used Aunt Linda's snorkel mask to swim over and check out the spring--a 30 foot deep hole right in the middle.

Honestly, being over the deep hole was a bit unnerving. You felt very vulnerable, like something was going to swim out and eat you. It didn't help that just across the cement barrier was a marsh full of alligators.
We spent the afternoon at the beach. The waves were pretty good today!

The undertow was pretty strong and the kids kept getting washed upshore, so there was a lot of towing them back going on.
That night we had dinner at GiGi's house with the Brewers. We got to meet baby Paisley for the first time!
