I think Lily's party this year has been my favorite one I've done so far. She wanted unicorns and rainbows, so we threw in some dragons for the boys and called it good!
I sewed dragon wings for the boys (or girls who wanted them) and made some unicorn horn headbands and tails for the girls.

We had LOTS of friends come (probably close to 30 kiddos). We had several activities for the kids to do--we didn't really have a set schedule, we just let the kids play for most of it. We brought our bounce house and our scooters--always a huge hit with kids.
Necklace! We had beads and different charms you could string onto the necklace color of your choice. The kids all thought this was pretty neat.
My mom was in town and brought Laura's kiddos up to play. Lexi had a great time making a necklace with her!
We also had a painting section. I used vinyl and cut out unicorn and dragon silhouettes the kids put on canvas and then painted over. After the paint dried, you could peel off the vinyl and have a silhouette underneath.
I tried to make some dragon eggs with fast-setting concrete, but for some reason couldn't get it right. I had found some tutorials online and followed them as best I could, but failed multiple times. I finally was able to create a few that looked decent.

We did a little race with three of these cute blow-up unicorns. The kids had to rescue a dragon egg in a relay race by bouncing from one line to another with the egg in hand. It was super cute and lots of fun!
We had a dragon egg hunt where the kids collected eggs that had candy and little toys in them.

It was a GREAT party! Everyone had fun, especially Lily. We had several friends stay and help clean up which made it nice.
At home the next morning, Lily opened her gifts. She LOVED them all and had gushing things to say about each thing.
And of course wasted no time trying out some of her special projects,
Happy happy Birthday, to my spunky, crazy girl! You are insane and I love that about you. You keep us on our toes and exercise our patience every day. We love you and are so glad you're ours!
